Rice cake pounding is Japanese traditional events
お正月前に餅つきを行います。
Just before every New Year's, we pound rice to make traditional rice cakes in Japan
今日は保育園の餅つき大会に参加しました。
We participated a nursery school's rice cake pounding event today.
長男もよっしょい！
My boy did good job.
私も２０何年振りに餅つきしました。
I was pounding rice cake after 20 years.
大人も必至です。
Parents worked hard and pounding hard.

餅は最高に美味しかった！
Rice cakes were so delicious !
つきたての餅は柔らかく、伸びがいいのが特徴ですね。
Freshly pounded mochi is soft and stretchy
みんなで頑張ったから大成功ですね。
Everyone did great job, we made it !
