みんなでお花見。Cherry blossom viewing party.

嵐が来る前に花見に行きました。

Before storm hit Ojika, we went to cherry blossom viewing party. 

東京や大阪、京都ではだいたい３月の終わりから４月になると桜の花が咲きます。
Cherry blossoms come out between late March and April, in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.
小値賀も大体同じ時期みたいす。
Ojika is same time as most of places in Japan. 

桜の満開時期は地域や気候によって変わります。
The peak bloom period depends on the place and climate.

桜の花が日本人に人気があるわけはその美しさだけでなく、花が短命であるというはかなさにあります。
Japanese people love cherry blossoms not only because they are beautiful but also they only bloom for a very short period.

家族や友人、同僚と集まって、満開の桜の木の下でお酒を飲んだりお弁当を食べて楽しみます。
We enjoy eating and drinking with family, friends or coworkers under the fully bloomed cherry blossoms.

毎年春になると、多くの公園は食べ物を売る屋台やお花見客で賑わいます。
Every spring, many parks get crowded with viewers and street stalls.

お花見のために良い場所を確保しようと、前日から場所取りのため公園に泊まり込む人もいす。
Sometimes people stay overnight at the park to get a good spot for cherry blossom viewing.

桜にはたくさんの種類があります。小値賀で一番よく見られるのはソメイヨシノです。
There are many kinds of cherry blossoms. Somei-yoshino is the most famous one in Tokyo.
